The Ingredients Needed To Make Loaded Steak Quesadillas:

  1. 1 Steak per quesadilla. ( You can use any type of steak you like, such as sirloin, skirt, flank, or ribeye ).
  2. 1 Large onion
  3. 2 Cups of Dairy free shredded mozzarella – Cheese adds creaminess to the quesadillas. ( You can use any type of cheese you like. For example, you can use:  cheddar, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack. You can also use a ready-made taco blend cheese if you have one. Use whatever cheese you want)
  4. 2 Gluten free tortilla shells per quesadilla  ( You can also use smaller tortillas if you want to make more servings. If doing this, you only need about half the steak per quesadilla)
  5. Soy sauce
  6. Worcestershire sauce
  7. Steak seasoning ( You can use any spices you like, such as chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. You can also use a Mexican spice blend if you have one).
  8. Toppings of your preference. ( You will need some toppings to add color and texture to the quesadillas. You can use any toppings you like, such as cherry tomatoes, fire-roasted corn, black beans, avocado, bell peppers, and cilantro. You can also use canned or frozen toppings if you don’t have fresh ones. )

Instructions To Make Loaded Steak Quesadillas:

  1. Marinate steaks in soy, Worcestershire sauce for a few hours.
  2. Add steak seasoning to steaks.
  3. Cut onion, (bell pepper if using) and add salt pepper and oil to caramelize. You can do this on a stovetop or grill
  4. Grill steaks to your liking.
  5. Cut steak into slices.
  6. Take one tortilla shell. Add some shredded cheese. Then add steak slices to over tortilla. Add caramelized onions, bell pepper and other toppings you’re using,  and top with more cheese. Add another tortilla shell.
  7. Grill the quesadilla on both sides until cheese is melted and grilled to your liking.
  8. Enjoy with your favorite guacamole, salsa, or just like it is!
